How do you calculate cell phone tower coverage area?
I know that cell phone towers cover anywhere from 1 mile to 20 miles but how do you get a specific radius with each one? I would like to see a mathematical formula if possible. eg distance = frequency * antenna height or some log function or whatever. Thanks a billion.
you have to know the height and what is around it. cell phones are in the uhf freq range. the signal is line of sight. this means it does not pass through objects well and it does not bouce off the atmousphere. so the range is the distance from the height of the tower to the horizon or any sizeable object it hits.

Ive seen many jammers but this one is super , at a distance of 5 meter it kills the audio completly , at a range of 15-20 meters it gives all phones a no signal after 10-30 secs.
