We don’t have a good coverage for mobile phones in our garage!!?

Can you tell me what product we can use for our office to clear this problem. Our car park is located in level 3 underground and we are after a module to amplify the signals somehow. Is that a repeater or what? We are using Telstra phone service in Sydney.

Good o’l telstra. look, it’s the normal coverage, the waves [from the mobile] will bounce off the walls, through the roof and get slower and weaker and gone by the time you’ve hit the surface.
Reason you’r not getting good covergae also is because, the satellite/ dish isn’t near enough. this is called a “Black spot.”

Best thing to do is use a landline.

and wat r u doin on a mobile in a car par… are you planning something? lol

Most people these days will not like to hear a typical “tring tring” sound in their mobile phones when someone calls them. Ring tones come handy to such people as one can easily download his choicest ring tone into his phone. Given below is a brief description of the latest trends in mobile ring tones.

A ring tone is a sound that is made by a telephone to indicate the arrival of an incoming call. The term originated from the fact that the earlier phones used to notify the user about the arrival of an incoming call by repeatedly striking a bell, producing a ringing sound. The first commercial mobile ring tones were delivered in Finland in 1998. However, these days, the term is commonly used for the customisable incoming call or message alert sound that can be downloaded on a mobile phone or a telephone.

Newest models of handsets allow users to associate different mobile ring tones with different contacts in their phone book. Websites like Mobilephoria, Dopetone and Phonezoo allow users to customise ring tones according to their choice. These sites also allow one to download a part of a song as ring tone into her or his device. The sites’ “Melody Composer” application allows users to create their own musical ring tones. Some of the popular ring tone types are monophonic, polyphonic and true tones.

A monophonic ring tone can play only one type of musical tone at a time, while a polyphonic ring tone can play several types of tones at a time. A true tone is encoded with a high fidelity format like MP3, AAC or WMA. It is often an excerpt from a song and represents the latest evolution of mobile ring tones. MIDI or middy is a popular sound file format for ring tones. Other popular ring tone sound formats include MP3, AAC, RTX and Siemens SEO.

Sing tone is the latest innovation in ring tones. It is a type of karaoke ring tone in which a user’s voice is played with a backing musical track. Real tones, which are often excerpts of songs have become very popular among the people, especially the youngsters. Some teenagers will even extensively search the internet to download funny ring tones, Sony ericsson Mobile Themes into their handsets. These days, almost every handset comes loaded with a number of popular MP3 ring tones.
