How fo you change the vend price on vending machine?
I have a old pepsi machine that has the vend price set at .25 and would like to change the vend price to .50 … I dont know how… The coin machine in it is a Mars Electronics, model TRC 6800H , Can anyone help???
Well this will be a little tricky to explain, so hopefully you can follow me. This is what we call a single price coin mech, so the coin mech controls the pricing for the whole machine, not a computer. If you take the top half of the coin mech out, you will see some dip switches behind it. Currently you will see switches 1 and 3 on currently, so to switch it to 50cents, you will need to turn on 1,2 and 4.

Fourteen Years After Rwandan Genocide
This time fourteen years ago, Rwanda was full of blood. The world witnessed one of the cruest killing of our time, the heinest killing of Hutu and Tutsi and which came to be termed genocide of Tutsi and moderate Hutu.
The exact number of people annihilated is a mere speculation as there is a huge number that is still uncounted for and undiscovered whether inside or outside Rwanda especially in the vast forest of DRC and others who disappeared in the rivers.
The tragedy that befell Rwanda erupted as soon as the then President Juvenal Habyarimana was killed while about to land at Kigali airport from negotiation in Arusha that was supposed to put an end to bitter fighting between his government and RPF forces.
The international community, under the supervision of UN failed Rwandans by not preventing the imminent genocide and all other consequences that are still haunting Rwandans.
Fourteen years down the road, military stability has been restored accross Rwandan borders but a social and political engagement that would restore peace and fraternity is still lagging behind. A reconciliation policy has been adopted or rather forced instead of an open and democratic penitence and indulgence the example of TRC in South Africa.
The result of Rwandan model to their healing has only yielded feign and pretences form of reconciliation between Hutu, Tutsi, Twa and the mixed( a term never heard of but there are people who face a dilemma of not belonging to any side).
Inside the country, it seems that there is reconciliation when one is not part of Rwandans psychosis. Rwandans themselves know that from their inner being, that the total acceptance of other ethnic as equal being entitled to dignity and same culture and intelect has not been achieved. It is a good stride taken by the government though to remove the ethnicity in the identity documents but as all Rwandans know, it’s not about the physical morphology but the discendance genealogy and self choice of alignment.
There is still room for improvement for less favouritism and total reconciliation. People who are continuously coming out Rwanda for social and political malaise breath a sigh of relief once they taste Democracy in some of host countries like South Africa. Tutsi and Hutu outside their home are proud to say that Tusti were wrong, Hutu were wrong, genocide was not the solution, war was not necessary. Despite the bad experience they seem to forget and forgive for a better future for all.
