mercedes benz c240 key programming?
i recently bought a 2001 mercedes benz c240 sedan.
it came with two keys but only one works.
i tried resynchronizing the key but it didnt work.
is there anyway to program the key without having to take it to a dealership?
First, check the batteries inside the remote ( note: the batteries are only used for the remote feature, they have nothing to do with starting the car ). If that does not fix the problem, you need a new key as they cannot be reprogrammed.
